Fenix Automotive supercar preview

Fenix Automotive, a new company founded by Lee Noble, ha unveiled the first preview images of its first model, a supercar that will go on sale within 2010. The model will combine a bold design created from scratch with GM-derived V8 powerplants.
Fenix Automotive is a new car company recently founded by Lee Noble, the man who started Noble Automotive Ltd in 1999. He then sold the company in August 2006 and resigned in February 2008.
“The M12 was hugely successful, but we needed to move the game on in terms of design,” said Lee Noble.
The new car will be offered with a choice of two engines. GM’s 480bhp LS3 V8 will be the ’base’ unit, while the Corvette ZR1- derived 6.2-litre supercharged LS9 V8 delivering 638bhp will be available as an option.
Thanks to the target kergb weight of 1200kg, Fenix estimates that the LS9-engined car should accelerate from 0-100mph in under seven seconds and reach a top speed of around 200mph.
