Peugeot SR1 Concept

Peugeot has presented its latest concept, the SR1 sportscar, which will make its debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and will preview the design trends of the Marque’s future products.
The exterior design is characterized by classic GT proportions with flowing lines and a monolithic, sculpted look which offer a modern reinterpretation of the theme of the “Grand Touring Cars”.
The new design direction marked by the SR1 concept is also reflected in the new redesigned Lion Badge.
The hard top adopts preformed profile technology derived from the sailing world.
The modern hi-tech interior has a 2+1 layout, with the rear seat positioned in the middle and accessible thanks to the sliding center console.
The hybrid powertrain - with HYbrid4 technology - combines a 1.6 liter front engine with a rear electric motors.
When both units are operating, the SR1 venefits from a 313hp total output of and the all-wheel drive and all-wheel steering systems.
